The Bfi Steiermark is a non profit organization, recorded in the register of associations by the ZVR-number 739956482. UID-No. ATU 37198000. In our function we focus on vocational and advanced vocational training of employees. Furthermore we aim for developing training and employment measures for unemployed and persons who are threatened by unemployment. Associated organizations are the ÖGB and the Arbeiterkammer.

Purpose of the association:
The association, whose activity is not profit-oriented, furthers public welfare direct and exclusively through non-profit charitable and purposes.  Those are planning and execution of qualifying- consulting- and supervising measures, as part of primarily employee-oriented vocational and advanced vocational education, education of adults and rehabilitation.
The association is eligible for profound measures on the field of research and development, in particular to develop and apply patterns and patents. The association conceptualizes, implements, or   participates in various national and international projects (notably on EU level ).
